POSITION SUMMARY

Under the guidance of our Lead Driver Trainer, the driver hauls heavy equipment from various locations, and the driver is also responsible for ensuring the operation of all equipment associated with the truck. He or she must have intermediate knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier DOT regulations and emergency response procedures as they pertain to Hazardous Materials and be able to complete all paperwork including but not limited to tickets, vehicle inspection reports, shipping papers, BOL, and driver’s daily logs. This position has the potential for driving in adverse conditions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (essential functions of the job)• Safely operate the truck to haul equipment from various customer locations; including customer locations in other States• Assure that paperwork such as timesheets, tickets, and records of loads hauled/transferred are completed accurately and forwarded to  designated recipient daily

  • • Assure that trucks are maintained and are in good working condition
  • • Must fill out Driver’s Vehicle Inspection Report and Driver’s Daily Log daily (per DOT Regulations)
  • • Assist other team drivers whenever necessary
  • • Must be willing to work overtime
  • • Dependable attendance
  • • Attend all required safety meetings
  • • Understand that there will be exposure to diesel, chemicals, crude oil and petroleum
  • • Other duties as required by supervisor, within the scope of the position
  • • Must be able to work out of State
  • • Must be able to work weekends and on holidays

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • • 24 months of Class “A” driving experience preferred (exceptions can be made depending on customer and company requirements.
  • • Must have an acceptable MVR based on our company insurance carrier standards
  • • Must be able to pass required background checks as well as a pre-employment drug screening
  • • Must be willing to work in all climates
  • • Average reading and writing ability to read in English location directions and prepare tickets and reports accurately is required
  • • Must have good organizational skills to complete, organize, and forward vehicle inspection reports, and driver’s daily logs in a timely manner
  • • Must have the ability to occasionally do heavy lifting (up to 80lbs) when needed
  • • Must be able to speak, write and read English

Chase Vehicle Driver

 

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the guidance of our Lead Driver Trainer, the Chase Vehicle Driver (Driver) will efficiently operate light motor vehicles in a timely and safe manner while obeying all Local, State and Federal DOT rules and regulations.  Driver will work as a Team member to transport company commercial drivers to and from well site locations and customer facilities; within Texas and other states.  This position has the potential for driving in adverse conditions and on farm to market roads and other leased roadways.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (essential functions of the job)

  • • Will maintain safe hours of operation as stated in the driver maintained timesheets and trip reports.
  • • Will coordinate all activities with the Logistics team and the Lead Driver Trainer to ensure the timely and safe movement of equipment and personnel per customer and Company requirements.
  • • Will follow specific Logistics Coordinators instructions to include work orders, directions and maps.
  • • Driver must wear all designated personal protective equipment (PPE) as specified by company policy
  • • Will operate passenger van in accordance with Company, Federal, State and Local laws with regard to run times and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations
  • • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safe working conditions of the passenger van prior to each trip and at the end of each trip
  • • Check gauges and visual indicators for malfunctions
  • • Promptly report any vehicle or employee problems to the Lead Driver Trainer or District Manager
  • • Must adhere to all FMCSA requirements of those holding a Commercial driver license
  • • Will be required to use technology such as smart cellular phone, lap top computer, fax, and copy machines
  • • Will needed to drive long distances, to and from other States required by Customer and Company needs
  • • Must be able to work out of town, outside the State of Texas, for extended periods of time.
  • • Regular attendance is required
  • • Must be willing to work on holidays and weekends

QUALIFICATIONS

  • • High School Diploma or General Educational Degree (GED), or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
  • • 21 years of age required per FMCSA regulations (2 years driving experience preferred)
  • • Class C Drivers license (Class B Commercial Driver’s License Preferred)
  • • Stable employment history
  • • Provide exceptional customer service
  • • Must be able to provide an acceptable MVR Must be familiar with state motor vehicle laws and FMCSA rules and regulations
  • • Must pass a FMCSA required medical exam
  • • Must pass a road test
  • • Ability to meet the FMCSA’s requirements to speak and read English
  • • Must be able to comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and Code of Conduct
  • • Must be able to interact well with others
  • • Must be able to work independently, or in a team setting
  • • Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 50lbs
  • • Responds well to questions; Ability to read, interpret and comply with written information and documents such as safety rules, operations / procedure manuals and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level to include the ability to meet deadlines
  • • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and will be subject to a criminal history background check

Lead Driver Trainer

 

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the supervision of our Operations Manager, the Lead Driver Trainer develops and implements training for drivers, and performs assessments to ensure adherence to driving standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned (See Secondary Responsibilities).

  • • Trains and coaches new and existing drivers on use of applicable tools, equipment, and in fundamental routing practices; transfers expertise to drivers.
  • • Develops and delivers training to new and existing drivers on OSHA, FMCSA, and Company policies and driving standards.
  • • Trains and coaches high risk employees ensuring aggressive, constructive intervention with employees immediately following first safety incident.
  • • Re-trains after accidents, near misses, and/or negative observations.
  • • Works closely with Managers to improve efficiency and identify problem or unsafe accounts.
  • • Notifies Manager of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage.
  • • Schedules and conducts Observation Behavior Assessments to evaluate driver knowledge, operating behaviors, and compliance with federal regulations.
  • • Follows-up observations with constructive coaching and retraining when deficiencies are observed.
  • • Plans and conducts new employee orientation in conjunction with the Human Resources representative.
  • • Investigates, reviews and controls implementation of safety regulations and company policies and procedure and monitors for compliance.
  • • Assists investigations of accidents and spills.
  • • Participates and cooperates in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required by Operations Manager.
  • • Other duties as required by supervisor, within the scope of the position

 POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Operations Manager the Company Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE) Manager is responsible for the design, implementation, communication and coordination of all environmental, health, FMCSA, client and safety programs for the Company. This position will recommend and provide technical and administrative direction on all HSE safety decisions, which bear critical importance to overall Company objectives, operations, and profitability.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (essential functions of the job)

 

  • • Direct the resources and activities of the Company to support company HSE and FMCSA DOT programs and policies by providing advice and guidance to the Company Management.
  • • Continually maintain an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge and preparedness across the Business Unit to create a culture that prioritizes effective HSE and balances overall associated costs.
  • • Review internal HSE practices to ensure that they are current and aligned with all company HSE programs and policies; conduct risk assessments and develop new recommendations based on the assessments.
  • • Assist with the implementation of HSE program, policies or procedures
  • • Effectively using time and resources to accomplish overall initiatives and program goals
  • • Compile, analyze, and interpret statistical data related to exposure factors concerning occupational illnesses and accidents and prepare reports including trending.
  • • Develop and document Company HSE awareness campaigns, statistics, performance results, challenges and improvement plans and effectively communicate this information with business unit management and corporate HSE.
  • • Reinforce safety awareness in a manner that promotes cooperation and improved morale.
  • • Provide regular written reports and production related results and updates to Company management.
  • • Ensure that site HSE audits & inspections are conducted and corrective recommendations are conclusively finalized.
  • • Ensure that hazard identification, accident reporting and investigation are continuously monitored.
  • • Develop and ensure that risk analyses are accurate and that control measures are implemented, where the situation dictates.
  • • Assist in incident reporting and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigation of accidents/incidents to determine their underlying causes, report investigative findings, and check corrective actions.
  • • Leadership and team building skills, able to influence decision makers
  • • Monitor and evaluate action item implementations resulting from significant events/near misses, accidents, audits and inspection analyses.
  • • Must be able to travel fifty percent (50%) of the time.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor degree (4 year) or equivalent experience in safety, engineering, or related technical field.  Must have experience within a general industry environment and be familiar with OSHA, BSSE, ISO, DOT, EPA, and other regulatory procedures.
  • Preferred Certificates, licenses, registrations – OSHA 10 & 30 trained, OSHA 500, Kellyville or Smith System, etc.

Logistics Coordinator

 

Job Descriptions: Logistics Coordinators schedules work crews, dispatches drivers, and monitors all movements of equipment, freight, and/or passengers.  Duties require use of computers and phone to coordinate with internal and external customers.  Maintain day to day project expectations, oversee driver hours of service available, and maximize driver performance. This positions reports to Logistics Manager.

Requirements: No substance abuse violations in the past 3 years and no major moving violations, or DUI: must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. Must be able to work alone and also be a team player, with attention to detail and possessing a strong level of initiative; ability to develop report with vendors, field crews, and other employees. Must be able to effectively read, write, and speak English. Has working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

Preferred Requirements: Have knowledge of commercial transportation industries and practices in order to provide timely and adequate support to customers.  Have working knowledge of active DOT rules and regulations.

Tasks Include: All written and verbal job duties assigned by Supervisor.
